About Us - Calder Medical Clinic

Calder Medical Clinic is a recently renovated family general medical practice with a long history of over 30 years medical experience. Our clinic is situated within the Keilor Village area .

We are committed to providing the best quality of care and medical standards. Our doctors are vocationally registered. We endeavour to provide patient-centered care in a caring and professional environment, to facilitate an enduring, trusted relationship.

Our facilities include a fully equipped Treatment Room with onsite pathology collection through Dorevitch Pathology.

Missed Appointments
Should you need to make a cancellation, appointments must be cancelled 2hrs prior or a $20 fee is charged.

Fees

Calder Medical Clinic is a bulk billing practice.
All weekend appointments are bulk billed

**Please Note** All consultations with Dr. Wendy Tran are privately billed at a rate of $50, with no Medicare rebate available. If you have private insurance that covers GP consultations, we can assist in claiming. The usage of clinic treatment room or preparation of paperwork may incur additional charges.

New patient policy

Test Results
You will be contacted by either a Doctor or a Nurse or a text message on your mobile regarding results, with instructions on the next course of action.

Confidentiality

In line with the National Privacy Principles, your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of the practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.

Wheelchair Access

The Clinic is accessible by wheelchair. Should you have any special needs, please discuss them with the receptionist or your doctor.

Parking

There is available parking available immediately outside the Clinic

Telephone Calls

Urgent phone calls will be directed to a Doctor immediately. The Doctors will return any other calls after consultation time. In case of an emergency please call 000

In the interests of maintaining your continued good health and disease prevention, the Clinic will periodically issue reminders to attend.
